Winamp Pro Android Can't save my presets

HTC Desire HD, running Gingerbread. I upgraded to Winamp Pro, very nice except I cannot save my EQ presets. I can create them, click the save function, asks me to name it , I click save and get an error notice saying it cannot save.
I've tried different names, even tird to save and existing preset ..same error message

BTW Winamp DOES save EQ presets on my Toshiba Thrive Tablet but it is running Honeycomb so not sure if its a hardware (HTC Desire HD) or Android version 2.3.3
