Unknowingly I have had installed a fake Winamp app from Google Play Store. Turned out after installing it I can not remove it even I had tried factory reset. Random apps will keep on installing that I don't even know name of. Pop ups kept on coming. I finally had to change my phone due to such a big mess that had been created.

Is there any update from Winamp team when they will release an official version of the android app?

Well thanks for the heads up but we all know Google Store can't be trusted with the apps you find there. Is a good O.S. but also very insecure on that matter

What possible damages these app are capable of do? Probably, steal your private data and misuse them. I think we should report it to Google.

I also came across a fake Winamp app, but I'm not sure it's this one, maybe there are 2, or even more.
