done, though no one ever reads the stickies (as proven by the few crash reports posted in here and people asking 'what do i do' comments).

Heh, mostly true, yes. On the other hand, you only see the questions of those not reading the stickies; the 'good guys' solve their problems by reading them or, in this case, report crashes the other way (via email or directly from the application).

Well, I must say I was quite suprised to see a subforum 'Winamp for Mac', ha! At last, so it seems. So I wondered what it was all about, the links above are quite helpful.

i wonder if the commitment to "winamp for mac" will ever evolve beyond 'we just wanted mac users to have a way to get their tunes to their droid devices that have the winamp app'

right now, the app is SO basic, i think its really only meant to be a mac>droid xfer conduit.

What Winamp Version works with mac book pro ? I realise Winamp are working at the moment in improving winamp for downloading. Is this resolved yet ??

WinAmp Mac or otherwise

I just yesterday found my January 2004 Winamp 5.0 registration. Does WinAmp still exist, in any flavor? Please don't jump on me for asking a FAQ. There are almost 3 million posts on these forums and a bunch of searches over the fast 24 hours accomplished little (nothing).

You don't need to waste time searching and asking, when it is quicker to look around.

Go back up 1 level, then look for "Winamp Discussion"
There you will find a sticky with the release info and downloads.
