Apparently, this is a sad side effect of technology evolution.. Looks like we're seeing on these forums a lot of Bots. Probably "deployed" here to test the AI tech. This specifically is the more stupid I've came across, but there are others more advanced.. They give the forum a deceiving appearance of movement..

PS : deleted his (it?) other posts, ironically, site design seems like the most fitting.. (if you understand "design" as the technology behind the site / forum, not only the aesthetic aspect)

Well... now I am starting to see more and more of these kinds of posts... This is actually getting annoying now... :/

I'll begin to delete it from now on, maybe a real human may be hit at some point but it's unlikely.. And I prefer that instead of keep interacting with (so) limited AI..

I can see this being an integral part of the future though.. Imagine these bots will target most popular themes, so people will eventually seek for their participation since it'll mean your thread / subject is popular somehow..

Speaking of which Victhor, Do you know if the "report post" actually works or goes to active moderators? I am not sure if when I report posts its going into a black hole or not.

It goes to all mods, I receive it and usually act within the next half hour, but sometimes other mod gets ahead (specially when I'm sleeping heh). So there must be 3 or 4 active mods I guess.

PS: Reporting is specially useful when receiving spam private messages and individual posts within valid threads (spam threads are easier to spot and never last too long on our watch).

Well , seen a spambot posting a reply to another spambot

it seems that the bots are getting smarter by the day
they start with normal posts and out of the blue you get your spamlink.
