Have Max Images sizes for attachments changed?

I tried a JPG @ 1.4mb. JPGs have a limit of 1.5mb. I got the same message as in the first post. I tried with other sizes - I had to shrink it to under 1mb and at that size, there was no point in posting it, actually. I'm going to delete the last screenshot I posted as it is honestly too small to see any detail. Thanks for responding.

Same happened to me. I had two JPGs, each under 1.5MB (1.2MB and 1.3MB, respectively), and got that error you posted in your first post. Had to shrink both to under 1MB for them to upload correctly.

change the PNG to another format like a JPG and try again

Hello, all. I asked this question of an admin in private but he was not sure so I'll put this out there for everyone/anyone: Under "Manage Attachments" the size shown for PNG images is 2mb. However, when I try to upload a PNG image that is only 1.3mb, I get the error shown below. Has only PNG size limit changed or is there now a new schedule of image sizes posted somewhere? I did a search but didn't really find anything related. Thanks!
