2 problems

When i open winamp after i boot my computer, when winamp opens it also opens the open file directory. I used to be able to have all the songs in the playlist saved so when i come back the next day or sumfing i dont have to ope playlists but now i open winamp and there is nothing in the playlist window.

Is this as a result of using the autorun workaround?

Did you place a shortcut to Winamp with a switch to a playlist file in your startup folder?
eg. shortcut command line:
"c:\program files\winamp\winamp.exe" "c:\my music\playlists\playlist.m3u"

If yes, then please post the shortcut command line you're using here.
(copy and paste it)

btw, what's the 2nd problem?

Nah this was happening before i posted that thread. It seems to happen every second time i open winamp.
Sorry the second problem was, i had a talk with you once about when minimizing winamp it dissappears from the taskbar. You told me to do this
Open winamp.ini in Notepad

Scroll down for this entry and change it accordingly:

priority=1

Yours will currently be set to priority=0 so change it to priority=1 (normal)

Also check the following entries are as follows:

minimized=0
taskbar=0
eq_open=1
mw_open=1
pe_open=1
windowshade=0

I know taskbar=0 sounds like it should mean: no icon in the taskbar, but it's actually the setting to make winamp appear in the taskbar only.

Save winamp.ini
Reopen Winamp

Well i did that and it worked. About 3 weeks later the prob came back again and i checked the settings and they were all correct. I couldnt figure out what happened.
