Winamp Full v.5.02 work with Classis skins?

I just recently downloaded the full 5.02v. and my classic skins don't work. Are my settings just wrong, I know its not the skins either...
...just a little confused here

There is no reason why they shouldn't work. Its the same product as 2.91, albiet with new plugins and bugfixes.

What do you try?
Any error messages?
What skins?
Any third party plug-ins installed?
Do a complete uninstall and reinstall yet?
System specs?
etc...

Also, do you have a desktop alternative/enhancer (EG Litestep)?
What happens if you click on the WA taskbar button or the systray icon.

Nothing happens, the player flashes and acts like it is going to show the new skin but nothing happens.

No error messages
Classis skins
No plugins
I already did a complete uninstall and reinstall
Win NT, p3 933

No, no desktop enhancers. Although I would like to get litestep.

Intel p3 333, 256, unsure 5.1, nvidia g4 5600, Windows NT, DirectX 9

Is Nvidia nView enabled? Do you have a multi-monitor system.
Try the following in winamp...
1. Ctrl+P (for preferences)
2. Skins > Classic Skins
3. Classic Skins Options tab
4. checkmark (or uncheck) "Litestep VWM compatible mode" and/or "Always on Litestep Virtual Desktops"

No nView is disabled and I have only 1 monitor

To be on the safe side and if you have not done so already try running your virus scanner with the latest and most up to date definitions. Also check for spy/adware with Spybot Search&Destroy.

I can not see what may be causing the problem. Anyone else?

I'm getting the same problem. It seems to only want to run modern skins. The first time it happened I downloaded a new skin from the site and winamp wasn't there. I clicked move to see if for some odd reason it went off screen (which incredible enough i have had programs do that before). Eventually I found a very small square on the screen, just big enough that my mouse could go over it. The curser changed to the skin version, I could right-click and the winamp menu would pop up so I found it. What it looks like is a small portion, just a little square of the top bar shows, the rest of it is completly gone, to the point that any area around the square is just the normal desktop. Like i said i can still use modern skins, but I only have two so far and that's including the default skin, and it'd be insanly annoying if i could use the classic skins anymore, not to mention i like them better. Anyway it'd be great if you could help us out.

Hey I tried everything that you said to do and it still does not work with classic skins. I downloaded the gun skin and it worked and then I downloaded a classic skin and it didn't work.
