Specify file type?

is there a way that i can make files with certain extentions show up in either music or video in winamp medialiberary ie. my tv channel files for the tv plugin are showing up as music not video

Edit the Audio and Video views accordingly (via right click > edit view)

This is using .SWF and .MOV as an example
(seeing you didn't specify the file extension)

Audio:
(type = 0) AND !(filename ends swf) AND !(filename ends mov)

Video:
(type = 1) OR (filename ends swf) OR (filename ends mov)
