Did you try making two different playlists?

I think he means he wants it so that there will be a different active playlist depending on which user is logged in. I don't think that's possible, but just make two playlists and save them, then you can load whichever one you want. It'll just take an extra second. In Winamp 3 I seem to remember you could have two different playlist windows open at once, which would have worked, plus it was easier to select different playlists because you could have them all in the list on the right.

yes i have tried making 2 playlists but this dose not work exacaly as haveing a seperate winamp. For example, If you save a list and add songs to it later on, you will have to save that list again to keep the new songs on it, where when a running a normal winamp your new songs would be there when u run winamp again, you would not have to add them again.

What im trying to say is if there is a way for winamp to act as 2 different winamps on 2 different users. And im not talking just about playlists but other features like skins or plugins or w/e. So both users can have their own lists, own skins..etc

If its not possible then i guess it would be a good thing to possibly have in future versions of winamp.
              Thanks for the help anyways.

If you're both on admin accounts
                  just install Winamp twice,
eg. to each of your respective User folders in:
                  C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Winamp

Tell Winamp not to create any shortcuts during installation,
then manually create shortcuts to each respective winamp.exe in
                  C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Desktop
                  C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Start Menu\Programs

However, if all users are admins, then the Profiler plugin should work just fine,
                  without the need to reinstall/multi-install.

btw, you can store multiple playlists in the media library
and load them from the Manage Playlists button in the playlist window.
Just remember to overwrite the stored library version each time you add anything new to the playlist window version, ie.

Library > Playlists > (saved playlist)
                  Rem button > Remove all
Manage List button > import active playlist

And always save your playlists to .m3u just in case.

I downloaded that X-Fixer plugin and i think its great. Its preety much exacaly what i was looking for.
i was a little sceptical about the installation procces because it said something like..

"..After installer has finished, you should run regedit32 and changed access rights to registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\X-Fixer\WinAmp Profiler, so that every user can write there"

i wasent exacaly sure what to do and i didnt wanna mess around with the regedit. But it seems to work fine even without that step. All the users are Admins so maybe thats why.

Anyway thanks alot for your help
