Every time i restart my computer I must reset all my preferences, because it doesn't save them. Any suggestions?

Do you close Winamp properly (via the winamp interface) before shutting down/rebooting?
Settings are only saved if you close Winamp properly,
but not when doing a forced exit.
Apart from that...
System specs?
Was this a clean install of Winamp 5.03? (with NO 3rd-party plugins).
Installed the official update patch?
The only other known causes of settings not being saved are:
- Bad 3rd-party plugin causing Winamp to not close properly.
- Settings files (winamp.ini, studio.xnf, etc) have the read-only attribute.
- Using Winamp Modern skin with playlist in docked toolbar mode (known bug, already fixed for forthcoming 5.04).
