  • Microsoft Virtual C++ Runtime Library

I get this strange error notification:

    Runtime Error

    Program: C:Programs\Winamp\winamp.exe

    R6025
    - pure virtual function call

It sometimes occurs when I right-click on my skin and sometimes it just occurs when I install the skin...

And the best part: Even google could not find an answer...

Does the error occur with a specific skin third party skin? If so, the error might be caused by a buggy or corrupted skin. Try uninstalling the skin in question. Another possibility is a dodgy third party plug-in

Otherwise, have a look at the this thread.

If you are developing your own skin and getting this error, you may have better luck at the Skinning and Design forum.

        k, sorry!

that was my own skin, so i thought the "modern skins"-forum should be right...

what could be buggy? my makis or could it be an error in the xml? or could it be both? or both?

It seams you originally did post in Modern Skins. You thread has been moved a couple times.

I don't know what could be causing the error. Maybe this won't provide significant help, however try this forum search with "R6025" as a keyword. Most of the search results come from the alpha and beta development of the now dead and unsupported Winamp3.

Note to Mod: It is time for another move or is there no place for this thread to go?

i found the reason for the error. i use some pre-made makis and there were some variables with same names in different scripts...

changed the names and the error is gone

            ;-)
