  • Winamp crash by playing a song

    hi,
when i start and play a song, winamp crashes immediately. i think it happens since i installed 5.32. i got only a message, that "winamp dentermines a problem and must be closed". i can send it to mircosoft (...). so i reinstalled it but now i can play one song and then it crashed again, it crahes also when i minimize winamp and want to maximase it back. i installed 5.31 but without a change, but i didn't deinstalled 5.32 before.
I've got windows xp64bit and the older version caused no problems.

    somebody nows what to do?

Does the problem persist when you downgrade to an older version of Winamp?

An error in ntdll.dll could be caused by a corrupt ML database.
Try deleting main.dat and main.idx while Winamp is closed. That will clear the database.

      C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ml
      or
      C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Application Data\Winamp\Plugins\ml

If no luck, a clean install mostly fixes crashes related to ntdll.dll.
If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.
