Increasing size of album art icon

I was a long time user of winamp back in the day, flirted with a few newer releases, and just now came back to the latest version because of the album art view option.

However, I'm disappointed that when viewing by album art, I'm limited in how large I can make the covers. I have selected the large option, but still that isn't large enough for my tastes.

Is there a way to enlarge the size of each album cover even more?

No. Not in the Media Library view. But you can get a larger size in the Playlist view...

You can elect to "Show Album Art if Playlist is Enlarged".

Thanks for the reply. That's a real bummer. I really like the new winamp, but I tried out jriver's jukebox, and it can easily adjust album art size. The reason I care so much is I have my computer setup to a 52" tv, and the larger art on it is just so much better.

About the size of the album art in the playlist: my problem is that I want to change/delete an album art because the size is 220x220 and I have another one bigger 500x500 and I cannot modify this. If I delete it it appears again. If I use the "change" function the old one still remains. I've tried to change the name of the jpg file from cover to front and other names but the problem still exists.

I think the image file is somehow inside the mp3/flac files.

If anyone have any idea on how can I use bigger images in playlist.

you need to know where your art is. winamp can read art thats a file in the folder, or embedded in the tag. it can remove the art from the tag if that is where it is. but it can not embed in the tag.

i put all my art in the album folder, and the art is named Folder.jpg

put your art in your album folders like that, and rescan/refresh your art that shows.

if the file you put in the album folder doesn't show, then you need to check each song via "View File Info" in winamp, and delete the embedded art, then refrsh the art showing again.

Hi,
I have same issue with newly installed winamp 5.623
Album art is too small. I switched from itunes, and over there i made sure i put at least 600x600 images of album art for each album in my collection. Now i can only see little thumbnail on top, and somewhat bigger thumbnail under artist box. can it be stretched out? Or , can i insert new box only for album art to be in the corner lets say?
