Hey, i got a question. I have transferred all my music files to a different directory. I dont want to "rebuild" my playlists, so how can i change the path of the playlists. And the "open the playlist file with an editor and change the path"- option is too much work.

Yeah we know what you mean and Sawg pointed you in the correct direction. In that thread there are two websites which offer replace features. But you can use any text editor to correct paths in a playlist which takes about 0.1 sec per playlist or 0.2 seconds for all if you have a decent editor, such as Notepad++.
If you use Notepad++: open all your playlists; open the replace dialog; set the search and replace fields; then hit the "Replace in all open documents" button.
There is no way to do this in Winamp.Winamp ATF Reference — My cPro timer widget — My port of AVS

Err, Sawg?
@Dommak89
As JD mentioned there is no way to do what you are asking with Winanmp.
Maybe you can get some ideas from the following thread. However, I don’t think any of the methods or plug-ins mentioned there will suffice or be feasible for automatically “looking & replacing†the paths…

Playlist Path on Win 7
If you happen to move the music collection into another drive with a new name -
you can make changes to the playlist using notepad, but you will need to first find where these playlists are stored.
the playlist is not stored using the same name that shows on your winamp, so finding it with a search on your computer wont bring it up.
the path is -
My Computer > Local Disk (C: ) > Users > "Computer User Name" > AppData > Roaming > Winamp > Plugins > ml >
once you get here, look out for files type M3U8 File, you will notice the names of these files are not the same as that shows on your winamp playlist.
right click and open the file with notepad.
CTRL+H and a new window opens with options - FIND WHAT and REPLACE WITH
type your old drive alphabet (eg. F: ), dont forget the : after the alphabet, into FIND WHAT and type the new drive alphabet (eg. G: ), dont forget the :
if you changed the music folder name, use the same concept as above.
once done, save the file.
most important - after this try if the playlist is working. you might realise it hasnt worked! when you open the playlist file again with notepad, you will be surprised the files are still showing you old drive alphabet!!??
reason - ITUNES!!!
right click on the playlist file with the weired name and go to properties. change the 'opens with' program from itunes to winamp.
now try the above step and you will see it has worked!
