I searched and didn't see anything relating to this. I've had this happen on two computers over the last few years, and I believe both were running XP.
I enable global hotkeys on my laptop for obvious reasons. I'm NOT using multimedia keys or anything else. What happens is my up, down, left, and right arrows get used for winamp. It doesn't help that I use excel daily and when I'm trying to move between cells, it starts changing songs on me.
This only happens when global hotkeys is enabled. I've removed all global hotkeys except for the 5 that I use, which are a combination of letters and the function key.
