Tracking colums not refreshed

In Media Player 'Play Count' and 'Played Last' (I believe these are called 'Tracking') are not refreshed until Winamp is closed and opened again. Is this the normal behavior?

I enabled 'Recently Played' and unchecked both 'Wait' boxes. But no tracking updates during the session.
