  • "Some of these tracks are of an incompatible format and will not be transferred."

I'm trying to transfer FLAC files to my Sansa Fuze and I keep receiving this message. This is my first time doing so on Winamp on a different computer. I've never had a problem doing it before.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Go to: Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Media Library -> Portables -> USB Drive X:

(where X is the drive letter for your Sansa Fuze)

Advanced tab: Make sure ;flac is in the list

And/or enable Transcoding of incompatible tracks under the Transcoding tab.

ah, thanks! the first suggestion worked. i tried the second one before, but nothing went through.

so there's no way i can use my fuze with winamp without it being in MSC mode then? i don't quite understand. on my other computer (which is currently being repaired), everything transferred fine when i had my fuze in "auto-detect" mode and it even transferred the album art, which i don't get in MSC.

Hmm, it should work in MTP mode as long as the PlaysForSure device plugin is present (pmp_p4s.dll)

As far as I know, there's no Advanced tab for p4s, or if there is, then it doesn't have an option to specify compatible file formats like pmp_usb does.

However, the transcoding method should still work....
