I've used winamp for a couple of years and as music playing software with an amazing community it can't be matched. The only thing is. I've never been able to get devices to wirelessly sync, nor have I had to.
But now that I've got a fantastic new phone from space I figured I'd try. I've worked on 2 tech crews and hunted around the forums for a while so believe me I wouldn't be posting this if I wasn't well & truly stumped.
-- As a side note the phone works fine syncing music and playlists via usb cable, and it runs android with jellybean 4.1 I think if that's relevant.
Anyway what I've done:
- Installed winamp pro on my computer, & bought & installed the mobile pro version on my Nexus 4
- Followed the wireless sync instructions on the winamp mobile program from my phone. Including enabling wireless syncing
- Both my phone and computer are connected to the same wireless network, which is password protected but they both connect fine individually
When I press "discover devices" no devices appear even after it says "discovering devices" for a while
- Totally forgot to add my computer specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit operating system
