  • adding files to media library

I'm using Winamp version 5.65, standard version. After my initial addition of files to the media library when I installed winamp I have added more music to my computer that I want to show up in the media library. I did check the FAQ for instructions on how to do so: "Open the File menu in the Media Library and click Add Media to Library. The Add Media to Library window appears. (Note, also accessible by clicking the "Library" button)" However, there is neither a File menu nor a Library button on the media library window. I'm using the Classic skin that comes with the installation, so it's not just a problem of someone simply not including those things in their own skin. I would appreciate any help. I'm sure I've added media at a later time on previous versions of Winamp and am feeling stupid for not being able to figure it out again.

I use the bento skin, so someone else could more directly answer your Q, but I would recommend using the "watch folders" options in prefs.

Okay. That solves the problem without even having to worry about adding files. Thank you.
