  • Audiorealm's ancient crossfader plugin, anyone?

    Hi all,
As simple as that, i desperately need that Winamp's old good crossfader plugin by Audiorealm, which frankly can't be found absolutely anywhere on the web. May be by some incredible chance, someone still have it, buried in some under grounded dusted folders, from 10 years ago, please share it with me.
Even just plugin's .dll and/or .ini files taken from your classic installed Winamp, on some old machine would suffice
    Big thanks in advance!

You can find the stacker and TomSteady using google, but good luck finding the crossfader.

Now, I use SAM2 exclusively for my stream. Superb crossfading (configurable in and out) and TomSteady included.

but they don't have the 1.72 version there. 1.75 has issues.

Yes, i was currently using the latest version from off. and indeed it has issues, i am not sure it even works, that's why i was thinking to try the Audiorealm's one. I'll give a try to the 1.72 version.
            Thank you.

1.72 is the best crossfader avail for Winamp. Sing out if you have any issues. I know it quite well.

Nice, installed it, no issues, works, now if possible, would you share your best setup with me, my goal is trance / house live radio station, i would like a 5-10 seconds crossfade, with gap killer - on.
                Thanks a lot.

just use the presets. I dj with it for doof doof and top 40 songs and use default radio preset.
Switch off truncate tracks longer than ..
                  in Advanced and you're done.

The presets can be found in
                  Winamp/Plugins/ACF Presets
when digging to find the folder when selecting a preset from the settings panel
I also suggest playlist file remover which will remove the track once played. You may need to PM me for that as it's not readily avail as it is said to have some bugs.
None have effected me in 8 or so yrs of djing with it though.
                  Cheers, Pete

you should not be using playlist file remover as it is not safe to use with current Winamp and Windows releases from the last few years and as i've explained to pete, i don't want people using it (what goes on in PMs i don't care, but posting about it publically is not what i want to be seeing and if it cannot be seen, i'm annoyed at seeing such things posted publically which i'm well within my rights to do as the author of that defunct plug-in).

it does make it a tough one DrO when your plugin is the only one on Earth that does what it does. There is no other plugin I know of that removes the file after being played which is perfect for dj purposes.
Feel free to remove any of these posts.

I used it years ago, and while it had random issues, it still was the only off its kind.

I have tried all presets, and i find them all to short for me, i would like to force the crossfade to 10 seconds, do you have an idea how to do that manually?
                              Thank you.
