  • Streaming m3u's endlessly fail to connect (v5.666)

    OS: Windows 7 x64
    Winamp Version: 5.666, Build 3516

So I can't seem to get any streaming m3u to work, yet it has worked months ago. I'm unsure when the issue started but I noticed it yesterday. It just sits there endlessly attempting to connect with no luck.
I can use WMP and it works fine, so it's being pointed at Winamp. Something wrong with my installation.

    Requesting assistance with this.

Alright, I've been patient for nearly a month now (tomorrow being it of the day I made this post). And seeing my post constantly be ignored (not one post), my patience is running out.
Please stop ignoring my thread and give me the answer I seek to this problem. I've waited long enough. :P

Assuming that the stream locations in the m3u do work, I am guessing it could be due to a firewall preventing winamp from connecting. Unfortunately it's hard to say without actually looking at the said m3u file you speak of.
Current Setup: Windows 10 Pro, Sound Blaster Z, Logitech Z-5500, Winamp v5.666.3516

How can we help with no example links ?
Maybe we put some suggestions in a hat and take turns in pulling them out.

An M3U file is a playlist which contains 1 or more links to almost any kind of audio format you can think of.
...and there we end until you supply examples of your problem.
