I have two old, but in perfect condition Sony Walkman NW-A3000's 20 GB each.
I understand there was once a plug-in so you could use WinAmp as your transfer program is there any way of finding this plug-in.

i faintly remember this plugin too. I searched but couldn't find it though. Any luck?

There is a program called Music Center for Windows that you download to your PC from the Sony Walkman home page. Make your playlist in Winamp as usual and save it in a place where you can find it. Open Music Center and plug in your Walkman. Use the "Import playlist" tab to copy the playlist to your Walkman. It is slow, but works. If you try directly from Winamp, your playlist may be imported to the Walkman, but the list is empty and no songs will play.
