does winamp play videos?

I am trying to play some mp4 and mkv videos with winamp but for one mkv it doesn't play at all and the other mkv and mp4 plays the audio without any video it seems

I believe you need a mkv codec for winamp, and try changing the extension from mp4 to m4v. Regardless, imo, winamp rocks as a music player but flops as a video player

I also have the same problem when playing videos , if you could indicate the codec I need to correct the error I would appreciate it.

No you can't play videos on winamp. If you do so, your Software will Crash everytime.

Where is it possible to find those codecs? Google Play Market?

I believe you can play the audio from videos, but not the video itself.
