That is a similar URL I have in my others pc's and they can play,but not in my new pc.

Thanks a lot ryerman,finally with your help I resolved my problem.I had a file from WinAmp in
a folder.I right clicked to choose WinAmp to open that kind of file,and Voila,WinAmp cranked
up.I am happy now with my new pc singing along.

I enter that URL and creates the service,but I click a window showing if I want to save,or
open the file,i click open and nothing happens.

Follow the instructions given in the link I provided above.
Manually add a service using the following:
Name: SHOUTcast Radio
Url: http://www.shoutcast.com/scradioinwinamp/
That should create a service that looks like the attached Thumbnail.
Can you see a similar screen?Attached Files

SHOUTcast Radio still works with Winamp 5.666.
Also, IceCast works with this URL: http://dir.xiph.org/index.php
I don't know about the others or if any work with 5.8 beta.

Winamp is almost mute
I downloaded WinAmp today,I clicked in online services,to listen to music,to no avail.
It shows a small page asking me, if I want to open or save the file,that's it.Many years ago a server was entered in order for WianAmp to play.I guess time change.Thanks in advance for any help to this 71 years old WinAmp fan.Tags: None
