  • Winamp won't play Ogg files, despite fully featured to do so

The ogg dll is in the plugins folder, under the settings or preferences or whatever it's called it says OGG is supported, but I scan the folder with the ogg music files in it and it doesn't add them.

only ogg vorbis is supported, so if the ogg isn't encoded with vorbis, then it wont work
May or may not attempt to push WACUP to you, totally not, no. Why would I even?
And may or may not also have told you so...

      1. File format issue: Make sure that the Ogg files you're trying to play are not corrupted or in an unsupported format. Winamp only supports certain types of Ogg files, so check that the file is a valid Ogg Vorbis or Ogg Theora file.
      2. Plugin issue: In order to play Ogg files in Winamp ogg player, you need to have the appropriate plugin installed. Check that the "Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder" plugin is installed and enabled in the Winamp plugin settings.
