Cat walked over keyboard, had to rebuild database, no artist?

Cat walked over my keyboard while I was taking a nap and somehow launched infinite copies of winamp. Reset my computer because it was lagging, had to rebuild my database.

Now there's no browsing by artist, it's just everything all in one place. And I don't understand how to google what's gone wrong other than it's just "wrong." and every google search brings me people wanting to sort by song artist or something instead of album artist, which isn't it...

I'm autistic. I cannot stand technology, it makes me want to have a total breakdown. I just want winamp to be normal again, where I scroll down my list of artists and their albums on the other side. Someone just tell me in idiot friendly terms where to click to make it work right.
