Yeah, that's the version. It plays everything else that I've tried, but not this one (my fav!). Yet VLC/Chrome/others work. What's different about this stream and this player?
Also, what's going on with my system in particular? Why does yours work? I installed WinAmp without extra options. Is there a necessary plugin?
How can I further debug this and help figure it out?
Thank you Enthusiast

Thanks for the tip about the link. I'm certainly not trying to advertise for Public Radio.
How do I get the latest patch? I'm running "Winamp 5.9.1, Dec 21 2022" on Windows 11.

plays fine here in winamp latest version with the newest patch
Please don't post links that open instantly a player ,it's advertising a station and not allowed, next time do as above has been changed

Both of these streams work in VLC and Chrome but not WinAmp (v5.9.1):

Previous message got clipped again...
Unfortunately, it speeds up, slows down, stutters, etc. Pretty funny experience, actually

AIS Streaming Server Support [Minnesota Public Radio]
Winamp lives!Super happy to see Winamp asking to update itself after four years
Now I must admit that I had to switch to a different player last year when my favorite radio stream—Minnesota Public Radio—updated its servers.
This URL tries to open, but gets stuck at HTTP/1.0 200 OK for a few minutes. And then Error syncing to stream. Works fine in other players, and in Chrome.
Maybe it's because they switched to AIS servers? I setup a Linux proxy that converted the stream, and then I could listen again in Winamp. I hope you can help! Thank you.Tags: None
