Click the "developer" tab at the top of this page.
In there there should be a section for PIMP. It's basically a compression system to archive things like AVS presets and make it so that it detects winamp's folder so they can be installed... I don't know anything really about it myself, so you'll have to check it out.

1) You PIMP pack them.
2) You just save them as JPG or GIF in Photoshop or Paintshop (whichever one you have).
What next, you're going to ask me how to tie your shoes?
