why can't i install the copy of winamp 2.80 i downloaded?

i successfully downloaded v. 2.80, but when i clicked on it to install, all i got was the error msg. "could not install. installer too small." what the f**k does that mean??? i've never seen that before, and i've been a winamp user since 97. help!!!!!!!!!!!!
