Permanent Windowshade + Standard window

I would like it if there was a way to have the Windowshade a permanent fixture (when the option is selected of course), such that even if you have the main Winamp window the windowshade is always there.

I ask because, if you have the windowshade docked to the top or bottom and you don't have auto-hide on, the other windows on your screen "adapt" to its presence, and when you open the window from windowshade mode all your screen windows have to readjust, which depending on the apps your running can be a real pain, a permanent windowshade would prevent this.
