i think i have a pretty cool idea here...

say something is in the currently playing scratch playlist, and its either upcoming or actually playing or already played.

you right click the item, and get a choice called "Search:" and you hover over that and get 4 sub-choices of: "Album Artist" "Artist" "Title" and "Album" (just like how "Send to:" works this way already via right clicking the playlist)

you pick/click on a sub-choice, and it uses that items info to do a search in the ML, so it basically just adds the text of that item to the ML search field.

cool idea? (or am i dunce, and you can already do this?)

i have a vague recollection of discussion of this somewhere else, there might be a plugin that does it, but i can't say thats true. i don't think there is a way to do it in the "regular" winamp, but i could be wrong there too.

The only plug-ins I'm aware of, including Jump to File Extra, restricts these type of searches to the active playlist. Helps those with huge playlists and/or don't use the media library. None of them work this simply tho.

Should be something fairly simple to add. It would save time over the current 'copy & paste' methods.

I would also like to see this added, with maybe a few more choices like year, genre, BPM, etc.
