how? the only way to accurately do this is if the files are exactly the same, besides that you would go by tags which might not be accurate. I want to tell winamp to delete something, not having winamp ask me to delete something, that's just dangerous.

If someone could write a plugin that made a proper audio fingerprint of a given file, write that into the tag, and compare it to other files to give u a percent of similarity, that would be a very popular plugin.
