  • Update mini-browser to modern engine for native Spotify, YouTube, etc support

What it says on the tin. Any service that you can use in a browser would then be compatible with Winamp.

The browser should be stripped from Winamp, and then become a 3rd party plugin that can do as u say, route audio from web sources thru Winamp.

As long as it remains an included optional component, sure. As in, if you hit "full install", it's installed, however, you can do minimal or custom install and de-select it.

Having it be a plugin that you have to hunt down would be a bit much, IMHO.

What u don't realize is that dev is basically dead. If it's 3rd party it at least can be kept going even if the main app isn't.
