Option - Double Size

Regards from Greece I am Kiriakos, never had the chance to congratulate the Winamp team for their work over the decades and I will do that today !!

I am fully aware that Winamp this is now at slow development.
But by upgrading today from 5.66 to 5.8 , I had the hope to see at Option - Double Size a richer pixels count when using the classic skin.

I am winamp user for over 20 years, I have as favorite skin one named as Advanced.
This using colors simulating the display of expensive AIWA tape decks of 1990.

At my age of 51 years old and the use of glasses, more pixels at Double Size this would be a nice gift.
At 23" monitor the winamp player window, this seems as blurred a bit.

Well either way, thank you people for your hard work over the years.
While I have Microsoft server training, Winamp will be always my first choice!!

WACUP as of now (preview build wise) doesnt have any better scaling, no idea when that comes, the beta however does have proper DPI scaling support for skinned stuff (media library and the likes), though it's still using the default double size mode

as for skins, there's Big Bento Modern by Victhor which might help

WACUP beta link does not appear to me for download.

Summer version of WACUP, this offer two changes VS Winamp project and classic skin.
1) DPI of text within Player active window, this gets improved (played song name).
2) Play list window this gets also double side too (frame - border - buttons).

Unfortunately for old classic skins made by others, there is no visual improvement, buttons and fixed logos over the skin still appear with blur.

I am now assuming that older skins they need editing so their own graphics DPI this to be manually increased.

WACUP classic skin this is nice at double size (equal appearance to winamp classic) but there is no setting so the font color within lists to be something else than green.

In summary, the new user of WACUP he will not find any major and impressive change, if he is up to using older made skins.

Additionally when moving WACUP player window at my desktop, it seems to be there some sort of (Microsoft DirectX) sensitivity, pixels disappear momentarily when the window is moved until to be docked at new location.

i should've also mentioned that the WACUP beta is a closed beta, though you can get added if you send a PM to dro over there

this setting actually comes from the classic skin itself and cannot be changed, unless you download the base skin and modify the pledit.txt yourself

Yes I do understand that WACUP issues should be added at WACUP forums.
But I was simply wanted to deliver quick feedback, that WACUP this is not any miracle solution as is right now.

Personally while I do have some experiences about files editing, I am time restricted for such skin editing projects.
But I will keep all good advice's for future use.
