Updating the "Modern" skin

Hello all,

As I am a long time Winamp user, my preference is the "Modern" skin. It still is functional, but the GUI is kind of poor on 'modern' resolutions, etc. It would be cool if you guys could bring it "up to date" with features similarly on-par to the "Bento" skin.

The best thing about winamp is the ability to install 3rd party skins/plugins. There's a number of hi-res skins for modern displays. Recommend checking out Victhor's deviantart page.

I recommend checking out Winamp Modern++ - The maintainer (@0x5066) has done a great job updating the codebase of the skin to have a smoother and more stable experience:

Yeah that's cool and all ... and tbh I haven't bothered with a DEV environment for over 10 years, and not looking to return; but the premise of my post was for the average Winamp user to have that simple option of an existing skin.

The offering above does look interesting, but for time (and sanity's) sake, I'll just keep using the outdated "Modern" skin for now.
