I just downloaded 499c to see where things have been going (I'm still faithfully using 488), and things look OK, but I'm surprised to see that "add to library" has been removed. How am I supposed to add songs to my library?

It also crashes like nobody's business.
*sigh* This really is frustrating - I like Winamp3 much better than Winamp5 or Winamp2, yet it was killed off... I'd switch to Winamp5 if it weren't for the fact that I can't play songs directly from the media library, or Alt-click to miniqueue.

Only build 488 is fully functional...
499c is the buggiest, with 499g trailing close behind. If you want a newer version, your best bet is to get 499g, and copy some of the WACs from the Winamp3 folder to the wasabi.player folder. That will restore some of the original functionality to the newer version.

what are the EXACT problems you are experiencing? its hard to *guess* what the problems are in detail, making it that much harder to go out and FIX them. there is still *several* of us working on various aspects of wasabi.player, and i, personally, find it quite functional and stable in 499g, with just 1 or 2 minor crashie bugs when using menus (system specific tho, as its timing related)-=- Darkain Dragoon -=-

The primary problems I have with build 499g (With most of the build 488 WACs for playing other file formats) are as follows:
Bugs:
File > Open File, Directory, etc. doesn't work
Thinger doesn't work
The add and remove buttons on the playlist only sometimes appear.
The media library buttons on the bottom never appear.
Other Stuff:
The preferences window is kind of messed up.
CDDB checking doesn't work. (Even if I use the WACs and DLLs from build 488, it just crashes.)
Also, there are noticible memory leaks. For example, when I start wasabi.player, it uses about 7mb of memory. When I open the media library, the usage goes up to 20mb. When closing the media library, however, the memory usage stays at 20mb until I restart the program. The same thing happens with the playlist.
And I think that's about it...

skinpatch etc
Here is a patch which will fix some of the mentioned stuff and update some other skin related stuff aswell..
unzip to the root of your wasabi.player 499g and overwrite everything it asks you to.
Disclaimer: Use this at your own risk!
If you do it right, everything is fine.

*points to other post by me
That patch adds the Thinger back to the default skin among other things..
As for the original thread question:
Yes, the "Add to Library" button has been removed, it can easily be added back again in the xml, but it doesn't actually work anymore so there's no use to do that.
Why it doesn't work, I don't know.
I suppose it was meant to be some temporary thing while the Library was updated or something, but I don't know for sure.
[edit]
Oh, I forgot, The Library adds everything you load into the playlist or otherwise play in wasabi.player, so that's your "solution" for now..
