Ogg Media playback using Directshow filters

I did a search here, but "ogg media" searched for the words individually, and "ogg" will just show ogg vorbis all over.

Ogg media files are currently not working for me in WA3, even though they work through the filters with any other video player on my system.

I don't know about 'support' but when i installed i left the options selected for the file types, which really shouldn't be the same thing (it *shouldn't* be but maybe it is - support should load independent of file type associations).

I installed what is still the download for WA3 - winamp3_0-full.exe, but is build 488 and there is no option for any other downloads.

No offense but i typically do not download exe files from individuals and execute them on my computer

Oh, OGM does not appear as a file type to associate in the "Media" settings.

The wa3update patch is a safe download. Sawg and the other mods wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't. Besides, it's officially "sanctioned" here, as I also indicated to you in this thread > wa3update

* Note: Winamp3 must not be running when applying the patch. So, first close Winamp3 and then apply the patch.
