  • :: Playing CDS Music in Winamp 3 ::

    I have noticed that winamp 3 does not need the cable that connects the CDRom Drive to the sound card... It played very well without that cable, But now... I have added a second CDRrom drive... I´ve try to play again the CD music.. and now.. no music comes out.. I cannot hear anything in any of the CDrom drive I use to play, but the time line in the winamp run as is would be playing nicely.. but no sound comes out.. Does any one have noticed that bug? or Am I doing someting wrong??

    Have you tried connecting the sound cable from your new CD drive to your sound card?

      try disabling digital playback:
      ctrl+p to bring up preferences then cd playback and uncheck 'enable cd audio extraction' and close winamp and open it again.
      make sure that analog cd playback is UNmuted in windows volume control.

      I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.
