Change to MP3 (Hear me out)

Ok, I'm sure this is stupid... I read and did what this said:

"How do I convert audio to MP3?
Download and install Disk Writer. Download a copy of lame_enc.dll or find it form another program. Lame_enc is available form RareWares in "Dll Lame encoder." Extract/copy lame_enc.dll to the Winamp3 directory. Restart Winamp3. In the Preferences (Ctrl-P) select "Audio > Disk Writer." Push the right arrow key (on the keyboard) to expand the "Lame MP3 encoder" options. Set the options. Go back to the Audio > Disk Writer Page and select "MP3 (LAME) as the output format. The in the Playlist Editor or the Media Library right click on a file, select "Convert", then select "MP3 (LAME)."

But I'm not seeing the Lame MP3 encoder option in there. Please help. Also, once I get this to work will it also be able to convert WMA to MP3?

Argh. I completely re-installed Winamp and Disk Writer, and extracted the dll again. No luck. Is there anything I can use to just upload a CD into MP3 format w/song title, album, etc. written in? I got CDex, but couldn't figure out how to upload with all the info.

Look up a CD Ripper 4 wa3 in download.com. it rips to MP3. I love it cuz u can rip to ogg, wich i dont give a flying frick about.

Also, from where did you download Disk Writer? The disk writer from the FAQ does not have MP3 encoding support. The Disk Writer from the components page does have MP3 support.

Silly me! If I had bothered to look at the date from babaloulou's last reply I would have seen that it was from December of last year.
